SFWLO uses the US Lacrosse Women's Official's Training and Certification Process. All instructors are USL certified. USL certification is required to receive game assignments.

Required for all active officials. Covers current season rule updates and interpretations. All officials must attend.

Classes are limited to 10 participants. Only serious inquiries please. Participants must provide own lunch. Bottled water will be provided.

Cost & What's Included

$75 Fee

Thanks to the Florida Lacrosse Official's Council (FLLOC) and The Florida Youth Lacrosse Foundation (FYLF) for their generous donation!

Price includes class fee, SFWLO 2024 dues, and starter kit:

  • Officiating shirt
  • Warning cards & penalty flag
  • Fox 40 whistle
  • Scorecard, pencil & lacrosse coin
  • Tape measurer

Requirements Before Attending

Please wear comfortable clothing including running shoes. You MUST:

  • Be at least 15 years old
  • Be a current USA Lacrosse member ($55 adult / $35 youth) — register as an official under the Southeast Florida Board
  • Complete the 2-hour USA Lacrosse women's game official's online course PRIOR to the clinic — if not completed you cannot attend

If you are a minor, you may need assistance registering for a USL membership and/or the online course. Have a parent call US Lacrosse at 410-235-6882 ext. 102.
